Merchandise Manager, Ready to Wear and Multi-brands
DFS Group Limited, Hong-Kong, 2017-2018
Part of LVMH Group’s Selective Retailing division, DFS is the world’s leading luxury travel retailer.
Headquartered in Hong Kong, the company operates a global network of around 420 boutiques across 11 major airports and 20 downtown T Galleria stores.
The T Galleria concept is unique to DFS—a hybrid between a mall and a department store, combining luxury brand boutiques, multibrand fashion spaces, expansive beauty halls, curated watches & jewelry selections, and fine food & wine offerings.
Today, Gallerias can be found in Australia, Cambodia, China, France, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Macau, New Zealand, Singapore, the USA, and Vietnam.
With a workforce of 9,000 employees across 14 countries, DFS is a true global player. In 2017 alone, nearly 160 million travelers visited its stores, underscoring its unmatched reach and influence in travel retail.

As Merchandise Manager for Ready-to-Wear and Multi-brand concepts, my mission was to elevate DFS’s fashion credibility by strengthening the multi-brand offer. This involved refining both brand and product selection, as well as enhancing store layout and design to create a more compelling customer experience.
The goal of the multi-brand strategy was twofold:
-Introduce fresh and emerging brands to diversify DFS’s portfolio.
-Expand the Ready-to-Wear offering to reinforce DFS’s positioning as a credible fashion destination.
During my tenure, I:
-Conducted a full assortment review across all locations, driving a 30% increase in sell-through.
-Introduced 25 new brands to the network, with a strong focus on Ready-to-Wear.
-Managed the opening of 5 new multi-brand stores, ensuring both brand mix and design supported DFS’s luxury positioning.

VENICE T GALLERIA FONDACO DEI TEDESCHI
The T Galleria Fondaco dei Tedeschi in Venice was the most recent flagship opened by DFS. Ideally located next to the Rialto Bridge, the building itself is steeped in history—formerly home to the Italian post office—and has been transformed into one of the world’s most beautiful department stores.

Designed around a striking central courtyard, the store features a network of intimate rooms, each dedicated to either luxury brand boutiques or curated multi-brand spaces.
In Venice,
I was responsible for managing brands such as Moncler, Zegna, Versace, Kenzo, Paul Smith, and Comme des Garçons. I also successfully led the opening of the Moncler Women’s Boutique, the Emporio Armani corner, and the Paul & Shark pop-up, ensuring smooth launches aligned with DFS’s luxury standards.

MACAU T GALLERIA CITY OF DREAMS
The DFS T Galleria is the exclusive retail component of the City of Dreams complex in Macau. This world-class destination also features a casino, the iconic Morpheus Hotel designed by the late Zaha Hadid, and the internationally acclaimed “House of Dancing Water” show.
The fashion retail offering spans two floors, with women’s luxury boutiques on the ground floor and men’s on the first floor. More recently, the assortment has been enriched with a multi-brand concept, bringing additional diversity and freshness to the luxury mix.

MONCLER AT DFS
Moncler is an Italian luxury ready-to-wear brand, globally recognized for its iconic down jackets.
When I joined DFS, the brand’s footprint within the network was limited to just two locations: one in Macau City of Dreams and one in Venice.
In under two years, I successfully drove Moncler’s expansion, opening five new stores in Macau, Guam, Sydney, Venice, and Auckland, while also securing agreements for seven additional openings.
As a result, the brand’s turnover increased sevenfold year-on-year, establishing Moncler as one of the fastest-growing and most profitable fashion brands within DFS’s portfolio.
